Abstract

Methane emission dynamics features of coal extraction sections are reviewed with consideration of non-linear geo-mechanical processes development as the coal extraction face advances. It is shown that extraction face length growth in conditions of wave-shape changes of it’s influence zone size on conditions of the containing massif leads to the increase of relative methane emission both from the seam under work and to the gob. The work is fulfilled with financial support of interdisciplinary integration project of SB RASc No 99 and partnership integration project of SB RASc No 100.
