Некоторые особенности говора осетин-дигорцев Моздокского района РСО-Алания

Abstract

The article reveals basic lexical-semantic and phonetic features of the dialect of Ossetians-Digorians of Mozdok Region of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The dialect carriers are the migrants from the Digorian Gorge, who have been living separately from the main bulk of Digorians in an alien ethnic environment for more than two centuries. An alien language environment contributes both to the conservation of the vocabulary of the language of immigrants at the level close to the time of relocation, and to the appearance of loan words borrowed from the surrounding languages. This linguistic situation gives rise to lexical-semantic and, to some extent, phonetic originality of the dialect under consideration. This work is particularly significant due to the fact that to date the dialect of Ossetians-Digorians of Mozdok Region has not been the subject of scientific study.
