Религиозная терминология: к вопросу о качестве словарных соответствий (на материале русского и французского языков)

Abstract

Статья посвящена проблеме качества словарных соответствий, предлагаемых основными двуязычными словарями общей лексики для религиозных терминов. Отмечается, что для подбора удовлетворительных соответствий необходимо принимать во внимание современный речевой узус, конфессиональный контекст, а также подробно анализировать объём соответствующих понятий с учетом указанных факторов. Исследование выполнено на материале русского и французского языков.

The paper discusses the quality of equivalents that general bilingual dictionaries offer for religious terms. The author makes the point that choosing a satisfactory equivalent implies taking into account contemporary usage and confessional context, as well as analysing denotation. The study draws on examples from Russian and French.
