The article raises the issue of increased accident rate during maritime shipping of dissolvable and self-ignitable bulk-loaded cargo, proposes ways to solve the problem, such as passing the right to examine cargo to recognized organizations, monitoring of cargo during a voyage, and systems for regulation of microclimate and inert atmosphere in cargo hold.

Поднимается проблема возросшей аварийности при морских перевозках разжижающихся и самовозгорающихся навалочных грузов; предлагаются пути решения проблемы: передача права исследования грузов признанным организациям, мониторинг состояния грузов в рейсах и системы регулирования микроклимата и инертной среды в трюме.
