The actual problem of the demographic science is studying of the general regularity of quantitative change of the population. The offered model shows the achievement of maximum of quantitative growth of human population at the stage of industrial development of the society with its subsequent stabilization and reduction. The model is illustrated on the demographic data of the China. On its basis there are predicted the achievement of maximum quantity of the population of China by first third XXI century and its quantitative level.

Актуальной задачей демографической науки является изучение общих закономерностей численного изменения народонаселения. Предлагаемая модель показывает достижение максимума численного роста человеческих популяций на стадии индустриального развития общества с последующей его стабилизацией и сокращением. Модель иллюстрируется на демографических данных Китайской народной республики. На ее основе прогнозируется достижение максимальной численности населения КНР в первой трети XXI в. и его количественное значение.
