Abstract

The article presents some results of continuation of archeological excavations of remains of monumental structure in the centre of the Old Bolgar, which were initiated due to research of M.D. Poluboyarinova in 1989–1990, and continued in the course of site of ancient town improvement held nowadays. There were ruins of 32 x 32 m sized building found which was built in 1340–1350 and destroyed in the second half of 1360s or 1370s.
