Abstract

The Russian Federation is the second in the world in the number of attracted foreign workers. According to the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation in 2008, an average of one year in the state is approximately nine million foreign citizens. The term "migration" is used to refer to various social phenomena, ambiguous in nature, determines its factors and consequences. In the broadest interpretation of the processes of migration of the population includes all types of population movement of public importance, that is, not only the spatial displacement, both within a single state, and beyond, but the turnover, the trade union movement, various social movements. External migration has a significant impact on the different characteristics of the state: its territory, the size and composition of the population, the economy of the state and other international labor migration, at present, has become an integral feature of the economy of any country.
