Abstract

The article deals with the semantic image of the northerner in F. Mowat’s novels and reveals his individual perception of the North. G. Hofstede’s theory of cultural and valuable features in F. Mowat’s books is analyzed.

Рассматривается семантический образ северянина в романах Ф. Моуэта, раскрывается индивидуально-авторское восприятие Севера. Анализируются культурно-ценностные параметры по теории Г. Хофстеде на основе романов Ф. Моуэта.
