Abstract

The article analyzes documentary sources of the 12th Congress. Much attention is paid to the prospect of an Anglo-American War. The author investigates the views of Congressmen and the political controversies within the United States of America.

В статье рассмотрены документы заседаний 12-го Конгресса США. Основное внимание уделено вопросу о перспективах начала англо-американской войны. В статье анализируются позиции партий, а также внутриполитические противоречия США.
