Приводится ретроспективный анализ оценок труда А. Лёша «Географическое размещение хозяйства» советскими экономистами и географами и другими исследователями. Оценивается влияние идей А.Лёша на пространственные экономические исследования в СССР, на исследования по теории географии и экономики пространства в современной России.
