Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of personal qualities facilitating the criminal behavior of a migrant, as well as establishing the causes for crimes among the migrants in the Russian megalopolises, such as Moscow and St. Petersburg. The study is based upon the polling of working migrants in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The main goal of the study was to establish the crime-generating risks in megalopolises, establishing the level of threat of criminal encroachments from the migrants or those directed towards them.
