Abstract

The influences of the abnormal magnetic field comparable with the geomagnetic field of KMA region on the structure of staphylococci populations according to the signs of virulence (haemolytic, lecitinase, DNA-ase, fibrinolytic activities) and persistence (antilysozime and anticomplement activities) in developing an experimental infection and using immunomodulator licopid have been studied. It has been established that infection development in mice in the continuous exposure of an abnormal magnetic field was accompanied by the selection of high virulent clones, as well as cells possessing the signs of persistence (antilysozime and anticomplement activity). For the purpose of immunocorrection the immunomodulator licopid was applied that led to the decrease in severity of the infectious process, the elimination of virulent cells from the population and the increase in degree of its heterogeneity on some factors of persistence, like antilysozime and anticomplement activities.
