
Publication includes the letters of the Professor of the St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute Anton V. Kartashev to his ally George I. Novitskii. Those letters are stored in the Bakhmeteff Archive of Russian and East European History and Culture at Columbia University (USA). They characterize social activities of the historian: planning of his lectures in the U.S., searching for financial support of the institute, his evaluation of the conflict among its professors, discussion of a proposed journal.
