It has been shown that in Romberg sample with open eyes there are no disparities in keeping the balance between wrestlers and footballers. The most significant shifts of stabilometric indices were observed during the active orthostatic test in the test with the open eyes, where wrestlers had significantly less changes, that is possibly related to their specific motor activity and adaptation of the statokinetic system to constantly changing conditions of keeping the upright posture. In the control group, a low level of keeping the body balance was revealed, in comparison with athletes, which was much more deteriorated under the influence of the orthostatic test.
