Abstract

After the accession to the WTO Russia experiences a peculiar transitional period that is associated with instability and the need to adapt to new rules and conditions. In order to reduce the tense and to ensure the possibility of smooth transition to the new trade regulations, it is essential to have the clear idea of all the available resources for all the participants of the relations. The article discusses the conditions of the current transitional stage and the state support of the agricultural producers. As a result the author reveals the specifics, the risks of the transitional period, and the measures helping to deal with them.
