Abstract

The interaction of copper(II) chloride with melafene and pirafene drugs, nitrogen bases included in their composition, and also bis(oxymethyl)phosphinic acid in a chloride medium is investigated. The structure of diprotonated 2,4,6-triaminopyrimidine tetrachlorocuprate(II) is established by X-ray crystallography. It is shown that melamine, 2,4,6-triaminopyrimidine and bix(oxymethyl)phosphinic acid do not tend to form inner-sphere complexes.
