Abstract

Статья посвящена историографическому анализу развития представлений ведущих археологов Волго-Камья (А.П. Смирнова, В.Ф. Генинга, А.Х. Халикова, Р.Д. Голдиной и др.) по вопросу о схеме этногенеза финно-угорских народов региона. Сделан вывод об определенном единстве в понимании процессов этногенеза, сформировавшемся в 50-80-х гг. прошлого века и о консервативности взглядов на эту проблему

Historiographic analysis of the leading scholars’ conceptions (A.P. Smirnov, V.F. Gening, A.Kh. Khalikov, R.D. Goldina et al.) of the scheme of ethnogenesis of the Finno-Ugric peoples in the Volga-Kama region shows that there is a certain unity in interpreting ethnographic processes, which dates back to the 1950-80-s and these views are quite conservative.
