The article analyzes major trends and characteristics of development of companies in the defense industry in Russia during the time of economic crisis. We considered regional aspect of company performance in the defense sector. We examined the role and place that the body of Siberian defense companies plays in the defense industry in Russia. We also analyzed important tendencies in indicators of financial and economic performance.

Рассмотрены основные тенденции и особенности развития предприятий оборонно-промышленного комплекса РФ в период экономического кризиса, а также региональный аспект функционирования предприятий оборонной промышленности. Проанализированы роль и место совокупности оборонных предприятий Сибири в оборонном комплексе РФ, основные тенденции изменения показателей их финансово-экономической деятельности.
