Abstract

By means of histochemical methods of detecting the RNA content and protein sulfhydryl groups within the malpighian layer of epidermis in the wound defect zone the assessment of hydroimpulsive sanitization efficiency and polarized light-therapy at treating experimental wounds was carried out. It is noted that polarized light-therapy stimulates metabolic processes in epidermis, accelerates regeneration processes, which is expressed not only by shortening the time of wound defect re-epithelization, but also by stratification's speeding up. Applying this kind of treatment promotes the mobilization of epidermis malpighian layer's cells, which is proved by the increase of RNA and HS groups, leading to the increase of skin's barrier function.
