Abstract

The article is devoted to comparison of polysemy, derivation and phrase-creation in order to determine their general properties. These three ways of nominations are investigated as components of a whole as vectors of realization of a lexemes creative potential. In the article the factors infl uencing evolu-tion of polysemy, derivation and phrase-creation, these processes with their spe-cifi c features, the nominees formed at their participation, system groups of these nominees are considered.
