The publication deals with the problem of tobacco smoking and the protection of citizens against the negative effects of smoking because of implemented the Framework Convention of the World Health Organization on Tobacco Control treaty negotiated under the auspices of the World Health Organization in response to the globalization of the tobacco epidemic. Indicate the main legal aspects of the implementation of the technical regulation on tobacco products. It was shown that strict supervision, control, and compliance with legal regulations for the manufacture, sale of tobacco products will contribute to solving the problem of tobacco smoking and the protection of citizens against the negative effects of smoking.

Публикация посвящена проблеме курения табака и охраны граждан от негативных последствий курения в связи реализуемой Рамочной конвенцией Всемирной организации здравоохранения по борьбе против табака договор, принятый под эгидой Всемирной организации здравоохранения в качестве ответной меры на глобализацию табачной эпидемии. Указаны основные правовые аспекты реализации технического регламента на табачную продукцию. Показано, что строгий надзор, контроль и соблюдение законодательных нормативных актов за производством, реализацией табачной продукции будет способствовать решению проблемы курения табака и охраны граждан от негативных последствий курения.
