ИСКУССТВОВЕД ВАЛЕРИЙ ЩЕРБИН И ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ ИРКУТСКОЙ ШКОЛЫ ИСТОРИИ АРХИТЕКТУРЫ

Abstract

The article deals with the creative works of Irkutsk art historian Valery Trofimovitch Shcherbin, who was one of the founders of Irkutsk architectural school and the initiator of Irkutsk school of history and architecture. The article describes Valery Shcherbin’s scientific activities and reveals his original methods to reconstruct the blocks of historic wooden buildings in East Siberia. The article describes the formation of Valery Shcherbin’s school of history of architecture and reports on his students’ success.

Рассматривается творчество иркутского искусствоведа Валерия Трофимовича Щербина, одного из основателей Иркутской архитектурной школы и основоположника Иркутской школы истории архитектуры. Дается описание научной деятельности Валерия Щербина и раскрывается оригинальная методика, разработанная им для реконструкции кварталов исторической деревянной застройки в городах Восточной Сибири. Дается характеристика формированию школы истории архитектуры Валерия Щербина и рассказывается об успехах его учеников.
