The development problems of small and medium-sized business in the municipalities of the Pskov region are examined. A comprehensive assessment of market conditions prevailing in the core areas is given. The demand and supply in the sector of small and medium-sized business are characterized. Recommendations on the implementation of state support to the representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the identified market niches are offered.

Рассматриваются проблемы развития сектора малого и среднего бизнеса на территории муниципалитетов Псковской области. Даѐтся комплексная оценка рыночной конъюнктуры, сложившейся на базовых территориях, характеризуются спрос и предложение в секторе МСБ, а также предлагаются рекомендации по осуществлению государственной поддержки представителям МСБ в выявленных рыночных нишах.
