Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the activities of the “Russian Society of Gardening in St. Petersburg” in the late 1850-s – early 1860-s. based on materials from specialized magazine press. The organizational, exhibition, publishing, and charitable activities of this organization are considered. Статья посвящена исследованию деятельности «Российского общества садоводства в Санкт-Петербурге» в конце 1850-х – начале 1860-х гг. по материалам специализированной журнальной прессы. Рассматривается организационная, выставочная, издательская, благотворительная активность данной организации.
