Amblyomma calcaratumAmblyomma calcaratum was recorded from Trinidad on anteaters, birds (Aitken et al. 1968a), small wild animals and humans (Smith 1974).Distribution: Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Belize, Guyana, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru (Jones et al. 1972; Caceres et al. 2002; Guglielmone et al. 2003; Voltzit 2007).
