Kosyakina, kosiakinayl@susu.ru South Ural State University, Chelyabisk, Russian Federation Исключительное значение сегодня имеют труды, направленные на прославление и увековечивание памяти новомучеников и исповедников Российских, они дают возможность осмысления и освещения истории нашего прошлого. На современном этапе отчетливо видна динамика роста канонизации, с которой связана потребность создания новой иконографии. В статье раскрываются общие принципы формирования иконографии Собора новомучеников и исповедников Российских. На основе анализа ряда икон Собора святых выявлена проблематика общего характера написания ликов в практике современных иконописцев. The writings glorifying and perpetuating the memory of the new Martyrs and Confessors of Russia are of exceptional importance today. They provide an opportunity of reflection and consecration of the history of our past. At the present stage the dynamics of growth of canonization is clearly visible. It is associated with the need to create a new iconography. The article is reveals of the general principles of the formation of iconography of the «Cathedral of new Martyrs and Confessors of Russia». The author identified the problems of general character of painting faces in the practice of contemporary icon painters on the base of analysis a number of icons of the Cathedral of Saints.
