Abstract

Modern construction production imposes stringent requirements to increase the speed of construction that pushes on the extensive analysis of the hardening of concrete and mortar mixes in terms of both positive and negative temperatures taking into account northern climatic conditions of the country. This article is devoted to the problem of application promising composite materials on the basis of magnesia binder and mineral aggregates in terms of real construction site. The results of research of influence of initial curing of magnesia concrete and mortars in terms of positive and negative temperatures of ambient air on the nature of the hardening and ultimate strength of the material are given. Physical explanation of the kinetics of curing of magnesia binder in concrete and mortars, initially sustained in conditions of negative temperatures, is considered.
