Обеспечение жильем и товарами народного потребления иностранных рабочих и специалистов в 1930-е годы: мифы и реальность

Abstract

В статье рассматривается процесс адаптации иностранных специалистов и рабочих, прибывших на строительство крупнейших промышленных объектов Челябинска и Магнитогорска в годы первой пятилетки, к новому советскому быту. Иностранным рабочим и специалистами гарантировались определенные условия жизни. Показана работа магазинов снабжающих иностранных специалистов товарами (Инснаб, Торгсин). В большинстве случаев руководство предприятий не смогло предоставить иностранным рабочим сходные с западными стандартами условия жизни. Раскрываются взаимоотношения иностранных специалистов и советских рабочих.
