Материалы и методы исследования. В исследовании приняли участие 60 начинающих легкоатлетов-мальчиков 9–11 лет. Было проведено исследование психомоторных способностей. Результаты. Определен уровень психомоторной подготовленности начинающих легкоатлетов. Представлены взаимосвязи показателей психомоторных способностей начинающих легкоатлетов с упражнениями соревновательного характера. Заключение. Полученные результаты изучения уровня развития психомоторных способностей начинающих легкоатлетов 9–11 лет свидетельствуют о выраженных различиях психомоторной подготовленности юных спортсменов, что свидетельствует о необходимости дифференцированного подхода в процессе контроля и развития этих способностей. Определены значимые виды психомоторных способностей для успешности достижения результата в дисциплинах легкой атлетики. Aim: to identify the most significant types of psychomotor abilities for success in different types of athletics. Materials and methods. The study involved 60 beginner athletes, boys 9–11 years old. During the study, psychomotor abilities were examined. Results. The level of psychomotor preparedness of beginner athletes was determined. The correlations between the psychomotor abilities of beginner athletes and competitive exercises were found. Conclusion. The results of the study of psychomotor abilities revealed pronounced differences in the psychomotor preparedness of young athletes, which indicates the need for a differentiated approach to controlling and developing psychomotor abilities. The most significant types of psychomotor abilities for success in different kinds of athletics are revealed.
