Abstract

Г. Разумовского (Москва), n.surenovna@mail.ru. N.S. Lulukyan, n.surenovna@mail.ru K.G. Razumovsky Moscow State University of Technologies and Management, Moscow, Russian Federation The main body of the article is a scientific analysis of the factors, influencing the temple architecture, taking into account the specifics of national design. The big number of historical objects in various parts of the territory of modern Armenia, which are in need of reconstruction, dictates the necessity of switching to faster and more reliable technologies of restoring architectural monuments. This project-based work cannot be done without a comprehensive study of the negatively affecting aspects, that actively contribute to the destruction and loss of architectural monuments, including those of Armenian architecture. This article examines the main reasons influencing the destruction of architectural monuments in the Armenian Highlands, and also suggests a number of measures to enhance their durability. The impact from these destructive factors on the architectural monuments is significantly aggravated by their age, changing environmental situation, and the need to preserve the historically authentic appearance of buildings during repair and construction works. The research apparatus in this article is an architectural and compositional analysis of the temples under examination with a deep study of these factors based on the orographic framework of the Armenian Highlands.
