Abstract

Orienteering is a sport predominantly aerobic focus, developing strength endurance, the ability to focus on the area map. The extensive development of the sport at the universities of the Russian Federation. Russian team at the university of South Ural State University took second place in the overall standings. With the growing popularity of the sport increased requirements to measure functional status in connection with increasing loads. In work leading anthropometric and body composition values, allowing timely adjustments to the parameters obtained. The role of the upper and lower limbs on indicators of fat, muscle mass in energy supply and their effect on exercise performance. The content of fat and the active mass gives an indication of the total system-functions of the integrative activity of sportsmen and sportswomen.
