В статье дается оценка позиции процессуалистов и законодателей по вопросу возможности назначения правовых экспертиз. Делается вывод о необходимости изменения процессуального статуса специалиста, дается авторская позиция по данному вопросу. The article is devoted to the analysis of the possibility of using the help of an experi-enced person in legal matters during the investigation of criminal cases. The article assesses the position of processors and legislators on the possibility of appointing legal expertise. The conclusion is made about the need to change the procedural status of a specialist, the author's position on this issue is given.
