Abstract

Tarkastelen tässä kandidaatintutkielmassa hetero- ja homoyhteisön rajankäyntiä Sofi Oksasen teoksessa Baby Jane (2005). Keskeisiä yhteisöjen rajankäynnin paikkoja ovat romaanissa teoksen päähenkilöiden harjoittama seksibisnes, yhteisöjen väliset suhteet sekä minäkertojan siirtyminen yhteisöstä toiseen. Tutkimukseni kannalta relevantteja teoreettisia orientaatioita ja lähestymistapoja tarjoavat queer-teoria ja intersektionaalisuus.
