Architektura veřejných staveb v Písku ve 30. letech 20. století

Abstract

This bachelor thesis studies modern architecture in Pisek in the 1930s. The most space is devoted to four functionalist buildings in the center of city: building to the District court in Písek, House at three crowns, Baťa department store and Písek savings bank. Individual buildings will be compared within their construction type and innovation with similar buildings in other cities and how implant in historic area of the city. This bachelor thesis concentrates on building history and informations about their architects, especially about their creative progression, local context and the differences in creation.
