Abstract

Over the past decade the extraordinary spread of the thyroid gland (TG) was marked, which is associated with many factors, including the instrumental diagnostics improvement. For example, during physical examination of thyroid in 4-7% of healthy population thyroid nodes are found and at the same time ultrasonography (USG) estimates the cancer incidence among population at 17-27% level. Most thyroid nodular pathology is benign, but about 4-14% nodes have malignant nature.
