
This case study was presented at the ARLIS/UK & Ireland Cataloguing & Classification and Visual Resources Committees' study day 'Picture This! the art of cataloguing images in the digital age', Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, London, 9th September 2009. The case study was based on work undertaken as part of the JISC funded 'Enhancing the VADS Image Collection' project.
