Abstract

La Universidad Internacional del Ecuador realizará la implementación de un sistema de comunicación mediante VoIP con Asterisk, seguridades para la WLAN mediante portales cautivos a través de Radius, y monitoreo de los servicios de red mediante Nagios. Logrando mejorar sustancialmente la comunicación interna y la interconectividad entre los diversos servicios de comunicación con los que cuenta actualmente. Se plantea esta tecnología por las siguientes prestaciones de alta calidad: Asterisk es un sistema robusto de telefonía utilizando software libre que permite escalabilidad con las nuevas tendencias tecnológicas de comunicación a nivel global, manteniendo seguridad mediante un servidor de autenticación Radius además se realizará un monitoreo continuo del servicio prestado a la institución mediante un Servidor Nagios, para de esta manera garantizar un mínimo tiempo de respuesta en incidentes, cabe indicar que la solución implementada significa una inversión económica baja para la Universidad.
