Rasgos de personalidades de los invidentes natos y precoces.

Abstract

Los ciegos pasamos como una sombra junto a los videntes, muchas veces bajo una turbia sonrisa o una melancólica mueca de compasión. Nosotros no queremos – no los videntes deberían hacerlo – que nos segreguen del mundo, interponiendo entre ellos y nosotros la infranqueable barra de la luz. La educabilidad de los ciegos, su capacidad de rehabilitación y de incorporarse en el último término a la vida normal, van poco apoco modificando la imagen deteriorada del invidente. Hoy, felizmente, muchas personas están cambiando completamente su forma de pensar y sus actitudes, al transformar el hecho mismo de la ceguera, dándole un nuevo sentido, facilitando la educación y rehabilitación del invidente, y permitiéndole que se integre a la sociedad. La finalidad de este trabajo es describir y analizar algunos de los rasgos de la personalidad de los invidentes natos y precoces, desde un punto de vista de la psicología educativa, con la ayuda de los fundamentos de la psicología diferencial.
