Abstract

The paper is devoted to consideration of innovative shift in understanding of a science, expressed in the change of scientific rationality types (classical, nonclassical and postnonclassical), occurred in the last third of XX-th century. This transformation involves the major components of a science as an activity, such as an object and a subject of scientific research, means and methods of its realization, applicability of various cognitive strategies. The subject of the research activity being under the effect of various sociocultural factors appears to be in the focus of attention. This influences the modern science organization, including university science with its specificity consisting in an organic interlacement of the research activity and various educational practices. The importance and an urgency of consideration of a gender projection in understanding of the research and educational activity in a science, including chemistry, are underlined. The specified projection permits to institutionalize a «female» way of knowledge which is presented by a construct « women’s look».
