Within the frames of NICA-MPD project developed at JINR, calculations of two variants of the channel of transfer of a gold ion beam from ESIS source to an RFQ type initial part of the linear accelerator are carried out. Characteristics of a variant of the channel chosen for project NICA, and results of numerical simulation of beam dynamics are given.
