
32 Eastern European species of the genus Brachycaudus Goot are reviewed. This paper is based mainly on the collection of the Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, Kiev with addition of material deposited in the Zoological Institute, St. Petersburg, Institute of Zoology, Cisinru, Moldova, and the Museum of Natural History, London, and numerous material sent from Lithuania, Czechia and France. The information on taxonomy, geographical distribution, host-plants as well as some ecological and faunistic data on the most widespread and the most polymorphic species are presented.
