Two clones containing repetitive sequences were selected from partial library of N. plumbaginifolia. The pNpl.9 clone includes the insert with a clastcred repeat. The sequences homologous to pNpl.18 are dispersed throughout N. pluinbaginijolia genome. The restriction analysis of isolated repetitive sequences was performed. The pNpl.9 and pNpl.18 clones are characterized by high degree of species-specifity and can be used for analysis of hybrids in Nicotiana genus.
