Abstract

La información contable económica-financiera, social y ambiental, metódica y sistemática, con evaluación profesional independiente, es cada vez más necesaria y requerida para conocer y gestionar la sostenibilidad organizacional. Se integran algunos desarrollos contables realizados con enfoque socio-ambiental y puede inferirse que es posible realizar un corpus teórico para la especialidad contable socio-ambiental que diferencie lo social y ambiental y respete especificidades de la disciplina contable, útil para la sustentabilidad, o sostenibilidad, de las organizaciones económicas y, con ello, para la sociedad en su conjunto.
