The Student Scientific Conference is a long-established form of supporting the academic and professional development of students at the Faculty of Economics, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. It offers a unique opportunity for students to present the results of their research, confront them with the academic community, and develop skills in analytical thinking, presentation, and scientific argumentation. On April 3, 2025, the 31st edition of the conference took place, featuring 63 students with 35 competition papers. The papers were presented in six sections: Tourism, Business Economics and Management, Finance, Banking and Investment, Public Economics and Regional Development, Quantitative methods and informatics, and High Schools. We are pleased that this year’s conference once again went beyond the borders of our faculty – 26 international students from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine took part with 10 papers. In the high school section, 5 students from two secondary schools – the United School in Modrý Kameň and the Private High School of Business in Zvolen – presented their work. We believe that such events not only contribute to the development of professional competencies but also foster international cooperation, connect theory with practice, and support young talents. We thank all participants for their work, enthusiasm, and motivation, and wish them much success in their scientific and professional careers.
