Farklı sıcaklık koşullarında Chrysoperla carnea`nın gelişme ve üremesinin incelenmesi

Abstract

The development, survival, and fecundity of Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) (Neuroptera: Chrysopiade) were studied at four different tempereatures (18, 23, 28 and 32oC), 60 ? 5% RH and a photoperiod of 16: 8 (L:D) h (5000 Lux) under laboratory conditions. The total developmental time from egg hatching to adult eclosion decreased as temperature increased, and ranged from 34.91 days at 18ºC to 15.55 days at 32ºC. The immature mortality rate was the highest at 32°C (41.65%) and was the lowest at 18ºC (21.66%). The greatest intrinsic rate of increase (rm) value was obtained at 32ºC followed by 28, 23 and 18oC respectively. The mean generation time (To) and the population doubling time (DT) of individuals shortened by increasing of temperature, and values obtained for individuals kept at 32ºC were the lowest. According to results obtained, 32ºC is the most suitable temperature for population development of C. carnea among the temperatures tested.Key Words: Chrysoperla carnea, Callaphis juglandis, Life table
