Abstract

ÖZET BETONARME ÇERÇEVELERİN BETONARME DOLGULARLA GÜÇLENDİRİLMESİ ALTIN Sinan Doktora Tezi, tnş. Müh. Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof.Dr. Uğur Ersoy Şubat 1990, 350 sahife Betonarme çerçevelerden oluşan yapıların yerinde dökme betonarme dolgularla güçlendirilmesi pratikte s.ıkça kullanılan bir yöntemdir. Bu çalışmanın amacı bu gibi dolgulu çerçevelerin davranışlarının deprem yükleri altında incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla 1 adet tek açıklıklı, iki katlı dolgulu çerçeveler deprem etkilerini temsil eden tersinen, tekrarlanan yükler altında denenmiştir. Dolgu panelinin donatı tipi ve dolgu ile çerçeve arasındaki bağlantı seklinin etkileri ana değişkenler' olarak incelenmiştir. Deney elemanlarında, dört tip dolgu paneli donatısı ve bağlantı detayı kullanılmıştır. Kolon eksenel yükünün ve kolon eğilme kapasitesinin dayanım ve davranış üzerindeki etkileri diğer iki değişken olarak ele alınmıştır. Deney sonuçlara dolguların rijitlik, dayanım, enerji tüketimi, yanal ötelenme ve süneklik üzerindeki ecKİlerinl ortaya koyacak şekilde değerlendirilmiştir. -v-Deneysel gözlemlerin ışığı altında farklı analitik yöntemlerin uygulanabilirliği incelenmiştir. Analitik çalışmada, tek düze yüklemeler için geliştirilen modeller tersinen yükleme durumuna uyarlanmıştır. Dolgulu çerçeve deney modellerinin dayanım ve rijitlikleri yönetmeliklerin ve araştırmacıların önerdiği ampiri k denklemler kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Analitik yöntemler kullanılarak elde edilen sonuçlar deneysel gözlemlerle; karşılaştırılmıştır. Bunlara ek olarak, dolgulu çerçevelerin deprem etkileri altında davranışının hesaplanabilmesi için deneylerde gözlenen dinamik özellikler kullanılarak basit bir dinamik analiz yapılmıştır. Güçlendirme amacıyla kullanılan dolgulu çerçevelerin dizaynı ve detaylandırılması için öneriler oluşturulmuştur. ABSTRACT STRENGTHENING OF REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES WITH REINFORCED CONCRETE INFILLS ALTIN Sinan Ph.D. in Civil Engineering; Supervisor: Prof.Dr.Ugur Ersoy February 1990, 350 pages Strengthening of framed reinforced concrete structures by cast-in-place reinforced concrete infills is commonly used in practice. The objective of this study was to investigate the behaviour of such infilled frames under seismic loads. For this purpose fourteen two-story, one- bay infilled frames were tested under reversed cyclic loading simulating seismic action. The main variables investigated were, the effect of the type of infill reinforcement and the connection between the frame and the infill. Four different types of infill reinforcement and connection details were used in the test specimens. The effect of column axial loads and flexural capacity of columns on strength and behaviour were the other two variables studied. Test results were evaluated to understand the effect of infills on stiffness, strength, energy dissipation, lateral drift and ductility. -iii-Under the light of experimental observations feasibility of different analytical methods was investigated. In the analytical work, models developed for monotonic loading were adopted to the case of cyclic reversed loading. Strength and stiffness of the infilled frame specimens were calculated using the emprical equations proposed by the reserchers and code recommendations. The results obtained using the analytical methods were compared with the experimental observations. In addition, a simple dynamic analysis was made using the dynamic characteristics observed in tests to predict the behaviour of infilled frames under seismic action. Recommendations were made for the design and detailing of infilled frames to be used for strengthening purposes.
