İmidacloprid uygulamasının mısır kültür formlarında yaprak anatomisi parametrelerine etkisi

Abstract

The pesticide chemicals which remove the harmful factors for the best and most productive agricultural production are used. However, the residue of these chemicals has negative impacts on health of human, environment and plants; their unconscious and uncontrolled uses are known as to cause unrecyclable environmental damages. Additionally, there are many problems in physiological and anatomic parameters of the plants exposed to pesticide implementation. In this study, the effects of imidacloprid substance at different concentrations are investigated on maize plant. The germination, seedling growth (coleoptil percentage, coleoptil and radicle length, number of radicles, fresh weight) and leaf anatomy (number and width of epidermis cells, number, width and index of stoma, leaf thickness, distance among the conduction bundles) are investigated in terms of plant anatomy and physiology. It is found that imidacloprid prevents germination, seedling growth and leaf anatomy along with increasing concentration.
