ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATORS IN ACHIEVEMENT OF HOSPITAL Cantürk KAYAHAN Afyon Kocatepe University, The Institute of Social Sciences June 2002 Advisor: Prof. Dr. Halim SÖZBÎLİR In this research the effects of hospital administrators in achievement of hospitals are investigated. In evaluation of these effects some general analises about hospitaLhos- pital administration and hospital administrators are performed. Knowledge about rese arches in hospital administration in Turkey, and in the world are given. Hospitals' indi cators of achievement are studied and statistical analises are done. In the age of techno logy and knowledge contempirary administration methods that should be applied by managers in the hospitals are explained. Finally, a model research is performed in Ankara Training and Research Hospital. In this research, firstly the datas of hospital are studied, then the achievement levels of hospital managers are determined by some cal culations, it is proved that there is an effect of hospital managers on the achievement of hospitals.

YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZ OZETI HASTANE YÖNETİCİLERİNİN HASTANE BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ Cantürk KAYAHAN Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Haziran 2002 Danışman: ProfDr. Halim SÖZBİLİR Çalışmada, hastane yöneticilerinin, hastane başarısı üzerindeki etkileri incelen miştir.Bu etkinin değerlendirilmesinde; hastane, hastane yönetimi ve hastane yöneticile rine ilişkin genel analizler yapılmıştır. Dünyada ve Türkiye'de hastane yöneticiliğine ilişkin çalışmalar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Hastanelerin başarı göstergeleri incelenmiş ve bu konuda istatistiki analizler yapılmıştır. Gelişen teknoloji ve bilgi sürecinde, hasta nelerde yöneticilerin, uygulaması gereken, çağdaş yönetim modelleri açıklanmıştır. Son olarak da, Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma hastanesinde örnek bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, öncelikle hastane verileri incelenmiştir. Sonraki aşamada ise; hastane yöne ticilerinin basan düzeyleri hesaplanmıştır. Bu hesaplamalar sonucunda, hastane başarısı üzerinde yöneticilerin etkili olduğu görülmüştür.
