Ebu Hanife`den Matüridî`ye Hanefî itikadının gelişim süreci

Abstract

This work contains the process of Abu Hanife's creeds views long to Maturidi. It includes one introduction and four sections. In first chapter, Abu Hanifa's life, his scientific personality, his kalamist personality and some doubts about the belonging of his works to him and briefly, some of his main ideas were discussed.Abu Hanifa was interested in the field of creed because of political annoyance of that period and scientific situation. By the way according to the late period works, there is no belonging problem of works to him. However, they were not classified to subjects because they were the first period works. In the second part, Maturidi's life, his scientific personality and briefly his main views were discussed. There are little information about him in early works. The scholars sequence took lessons from four teachers based on Abu Hanifa and narrated the works of Abu Hanifa from them. In this way, Maturidi's scientific sequence is based on Abu Hanife. In the third chapter, the access of Abu Hanifa's theological views into Maveraunnehir region were discussed. His students carried his religious views to the region. Most of Hanafi scholars who developed in the lecture circles of these students were interested in kalam. But the region was a closed area in terms of kalam because there wasn't a systematic kalamist between Abu Hanife and Maturidi. In the fourth chapter, the views of Abu Hanifa and Maturidi about belief/kalam were discussed in detail. It was concluded that Maturidi was the continuation of the creed views of Abu Hanifa, apart from some of the Kalami views of Maturidi which are not so important as to be a conflict.
