Abstract

В статье рассматривается коннотативность лексики членов семьи Виншоу как средство раскрытия их образов в художественном англоязычном произведении Джонатана Коу «Какое надувательство!». Авторы делают вывод, что лексическая коннотация очень важна в художественном тексте, она помогает раскрыть образ главного героя, лаконично и полно отражая замысел автора.
